A guy I work with (a lefty) is looking to buy an aftermarket stock for his Tikka and wants to put a heavy barrel on it. Anyone know where he could order something like that?

I think he's gone the Remington route before and wants to try something different.

Our next one will be a tac style stock for the T3. We currently are doing a run of sporters but they are rh. I don't have an image to post where I am right now but I will get one up when I get back to work.

The T3 TAC model is a couple of months away. The tang area is different enough to require a different mold. We have an order here from a distributor so that will urge us along by itself.

Any chance you'll be setting this up for a Rem 700 action? I was looking at a McMillan A5 pretty hard but would consider this copy if available and is priced well.

Might look good on with the Stiller I have on order, huh?...;)

Its about time. Mcmillan has been getting tons of business since no Cdn mfg made a stock that appealed to the masses.

Of course now that the cdn dollar is strong, US sales are high.....

We have been making stocks for 25 + years. I don't know that we are cheaper but our customers tell us we are better. This is available for 700 right now, delivery about 6 - 8 weeks.

The main option will be the butt. The choices are: cut to your length with a Decel pad glued on, spacer system with the same Decel pad, three way adjuster with Decel pad. Prices (installed) on these are: 65, 135 and 195.

Swivel studs are $15 each for the usual UM and $20 each for push button QD installed wherever you want them. We can add a rail for $55.

The stock in urban/desert/woodland/arctic camo colours (two) with a cheek adjuster (adjustable up and down and sideways) and inletted as a drop in is $635 but remember to add a butt and studs. Plus shipping and any taxes.

delivery about 6 - 8 weeks & $635

Outstanding! I'd do 2 months rather than 8+ months wait time.. (Huhum! $1000ish for a McMillan A series too if you are a patient guy.)

I hope things pick up for you IR & as a P/T firearms sales rep, the only complaint I've heard from the Tikka's were their stocks..So you 're in the right ball park for sure.

Sorry not 1000.00ish for an A series. The same price as Robertsons.

A-5 full inlet, drop in
Sniper or Sporter fill
Adj. LOP spacer System
Adj. Thumbwheel Cheek
3 studs
695.00 + taxes and duty

And also a 5 month wait, not an 8.
Just wanted everyone to have the right info. Thanks
John

I'm surprised that there isn't a bigger market for Tikka stocks as the factory ones are horrible. Even the T3 Deluxe wooden stocks are very plain(cheap), you can't even tell that it has a contrasting forearm cap, not that that's important but, you want to get what you pay for.
