Looking for some recommendations on ammo that your Tikka T3x’s seem to really like. Main purpose is hunting but what to see what’s out there in terms of people’s favorites that give them nice tight groupings
Pref 165 grain, forging a .308
I have a 30.06 and .223 T3 and both group well with almost anything I've tried.
While I have ammo I prefer for specific things, I have found I can shoot almost any quality ammo.
Those 'nice tight groupings' are more from the shooter/rifle/scope then from the ammo. I have a $600 Ruger American Standard (not Ranch) .223 that shoots sub-MOA with Hornady 77g Match ($50/bx) and also with Hungarian MFS Steel-case 62g SP ($10/bx). My scope cost almost as much as the rifle and I've shot for years. All factors combine for accuracy.
