tikka availability problems

Ordered a tikka heavy barrel varminter 7mm mag in march 2008 and have not got it yet so are there any other rifles that may be a suitable replacement for target and hunting in that caliber?
 
From what I heard is that thier shipment of steel was delaid by 2 months putting the entire line behind schedule.

But there is lots of he said she said, however this was from a reliable source.
 
I work at a local gun shop in central Ontario, and I heard that our distributer was not going to be getting any more firearms from Tikka until January or Febuary of next year, Didn't hear a reason why though.
 
I had a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .204 Ruger and left hand on order from Ellwood Epps since this time last year. Granted, it was a new chambering for the T3 Lite for 2008, but a full year came and went without it showing up. Stoeger Canada has advised that they do not expect any more deliveries this year.

the problem is that to many people want em. the distributor has more orders than the factory can provide. so when you see them you better grab em up. tikkas come in regular shippments but go as fast as they come. williams arms normally has a good supply.

Thats where i got mine a couple of months ago. Dan's a great guy to deal with and has quite a few in stock.
