Tikka Barreled action

They come up intermittently on the EE, but other than that - best bet is find yourself a used Tikka and part out the stuff you don't want.

Some Tikka parts, like bolts, are really hard to come by - and really expensive if/when you do find them.

I might have to go the full rifle route but if I can avoid it I would like to

i would just bite the bullet and take a serious look at Ultimatum which may be your best route rather than buying a used one then paying a smith to remove the action etc - my route may be going custom as well - haven't decided whether my T3 will be going on EE - more important bills to pay now and funds are being directed elsewhere - heck just going to buy another lotto max on my way home.

The Defacto would be similar cost to a Tikka barreled action and a new barrel for it. My hesitation with it is based on a couple things. They only offer 24” barrels in limited calibers. That and it comes with a 2.5-4.5 lb trigger, which I would end up changing.

The defacto seems like a pretty good deal. I think its a proprietary barrel tenon so readily available prefits wouldn't work. I'm sure barrel makers will get on board if its popular though
