Just bought a sporterized M-91/30 Mosin.
It is a 1944 Tikka-barrelled 1938 round Tula action.
It arrived equipped with a wood-fiber stock covered with black bedliner.
I got the stock off and metal looked promising: very light surface rust in small spots which went easily with some motor oil and 0000 steel wool.
Bore is perfect and shiny with very sharp rifling.
Magazine blue is 95% and Tula bolt is very nice. Numbers don't match the barrel's, however. Don't know if it's the original bolt but all its components are Tula.
I have found a correct Finnish bare stock without handguard, hangers, proper barrel bands or cleaning rod at P&S Militaria.
I'll soon be looking for these missing parts to restore that old warrior to its former glory.
