I was thinking of getting the Insite Heathen brake for my CTR 6.5 at some point. Does anyone have one, are they good? Easy to take on and off?
Thanks

I'm in the same boat as Crashman. Just received my Heathen in M18x1 for my Tikka T3 Tactical in .308. Looks really good, impressive fit and finish, and extremely easy to install/remove. You don't even need tools as they only recommend hand tightening it. I'll update once I get it out to the range.

I have the Heathen on my .308 T3x. I've shot it with the Heathen on and with it off. It's staying on. Great finish. Self indexing makes it easy to fit. No effect on accuracy. Thumbs up.

I've got one on my backup .308 and it works great. Really cuts down the recoil and muzzle jump. I'd suggest loctiting it on though (blue loctite) as I found mine tended to come loose at times which I found to be a pita when shooting matches where you sometimes inadvertently hit your rifle on barricades, etc. That being said, once re-tightened, there was no change to POI but just one more thing to keep an eye on. I've got a Kahntrol on my match .308 rifle now (not self-indexing), works great as well.
