I was wondering if anyone has put a muzzle break on a Tikka CTR and what there experience has been since doing it, also what make and where did they get it from.

I but one on my CTR. I got it from Coretac, they have one specifically made for the tikka. Installation was easy. Recoil is minimal. The rifle is sub moa, I like the setup.

I'm running an Insite Arms brake. Works awesome. Bought directly from them.

I prefer their style of attachment and low profile to most others. If I can get a picture today I'll put one up.

+1 on the Heathen from Insite Arms. Works great on my CTR and very easy to install.

This ones a seekins from CTC , just had to touch the lock nut to the side of my grinder to time it
Cut down on recoil and muzzle jump awesome

Did you have to use a crush washer in order to time it correctly when installing it, also what size barrel did you get it for the CTR i.e barrel diameter

I have this brake on my Savage Stealth. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet. It's my understanding these do not need a crush washer, as the locking ring will hold it in place, I did not use one. Looks great.
