Hi all!!new to CGN. Having ejection issues with my tikka t3x. Wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? Looking for possible fixes/solutions. TIA
lol yes on ejector. No it’s not hitting on the scope. Will just not eject spent case on a consistent basis. Sometimes but most times not. No matter how hard or soft I run the bolt.Is there an ejector in your bolt?
Is the spent brass hitting your scope?
more details may be helpful...
If you are going to try.Sounds like the ejector has a short or soft spring. Is this rifle new or used ?
Likely needs the spring replaced which isn’t to difficult. Takes a roll pin punch, hammer and a new spring. Maybe 15 minutes at most gunsmiths.
If it’s only ejecting some of the time then that’s my guess without handling and inspecting the rifle.

If you are going to try.
Just make sure you take the firing pin out first!
While the hole that the ejector retaining pin goes through, passes right through the bolt the firing pin is a couple thou in the way.
The retaining pin only goes about 1/3 through the bolt body and is short of the firing pin..
Don't ask me how I know.
New firing pins are sometimes hard to round up.
Mine was a .223 T3 Sporter.
NewWhat model ? What cartridge? Hand loads or factory ammo? Has the gun functioned well before?

Issue right out of the box.
Hand loads.
No, very good idea!!Did you talk to the seller/shop ? They have plenty of Tikka Bolts in other rifles would be a simple check with them if they play ball.

Thank you. Glad to hear I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. My T3X did the same thing. It's chambered for the 223rem.
The spring/plunger hole was packed in grease.
Follow the instructions in that video and you should be OK.
