i just picked a Tikka M558 in 22-250, the rifle came with a set of scope rings that came look like very good quality but they have no name on them, it just says Austraila on them. They made to fit the dovetail, any idea what brand they are?

Lynx appears to be an Australian firm that 'brands' scope rings ... I dont know if they make them themselves or have them made somewhere else... I have some 'lynx' rings and bases made to fit the BRNO ZKK rifles and they are excellent quality. IIRC they say 'Australia' on them.

If your rings are two piece they may use the 'stud' bases and rings which have a nice provision for windage

a photo might be helpful ... and if you are shy about posting pictures .. try a search on Lynx, Lynx-Hilver or Hilver


all of these 'brands-names' of scope mounts can be found marked 'Australia' and are produced to fit tikka grooved integral rifle mounts found on the M558
