Tikka hunter scope rings

Back on topic.....

The OptiLocks work fine. Some guys don't like them - I don't know why. They work great on T3's. Price is not out of line when compared to what you pay for good optics.

Ever tried to interchange a scope between guns in two minutes and have it only 2 MOA out the first time you shoot a 100 yard target? If the answer is yes, you have OptiLocks.:D

Burris bases and signature rings are good and solid, and you get good alignment and grip on the scope with the palstic bushings

I have Millet rings on my 595 and 695 Tikkas and no problems so far . I went with them rather than bases and rings as there are fewer parts , screws etc to possibly loosen. The calibers are 22-250 and 30-06 so it is granted that recoil is not excessive . Both scopes have remained tight for several years.

Is this my buddy Murf from AR?:D

The reason I didnt like my Millets was because of too many adjustment screws. I like to have just one on the side. This way you tighten and they are perfectly centred. I did the back and forth and saw that it was an issue to get them perfectly centred. I didnt like that system at all. It's not too complicated but just more complicated than it needs to be.
