A T3 Hunter? Ellwood Epps usually has a decent inventory, though I don't see one in 6.5x55 (excellent choice, btw!) listed there just now.

I was looking for exactly the same thing (and with iron sights).....Epps doesn't have any in that cal save a couple varmint rifles, I think. The impression conveyed to me was that they won't be getting anymore till next year since the Tikka inventory for 2009 is already in store.

Spoke to Stoeger a couple weeks back, said they didn't have any in stock and weren't scheduled to receive any new shipment soon. But then again, I've found that different employees in the same org quite often provide different info as they see that .

what an excellent choice of rifle, stock and calibre. Are you hoping to get a SS or blued version?

If I didn't already have a T3 in .30-06, I'd be looking at getting the same thing, rather than a wooden stock'd rem700 in .260/7-08.
