I'd particularly like to hear from owners of Tikka rifles in KRG Bravo stocks.
Is it true that removing the bolt requires resetting/lowering the cheekpiece with the KRG Bravo? If so, how annoying is it having to reset the cheek piece height.

Thank you :D

Yes its true.

Not super annoying - depending on how often you remove your bolt.

Simply turn the knob, lift the cheek piece out, remove bolt, reinstall to desired height (even mark it or tape it on the cheek piece rods if you're absolutely worried about it being EXACTLY where you had it).

All in all... 10 extra seconds, give or take.

At the lowest setting, the bolt at full back position will make contact with the cheek piece. This is more annoying than the above. But I don't run bottomed out, so it doesnt make a difference in my instance.

True. You need to remove the cheek piece to remove the bolt. Takes probably less than 10 mississipys. And yes, if you run the cheek piece all the way down certain calibers (ex .308) will tap the cheek piece when you run the bolt. You can get a short bolt stop to solve the problem but chances are the cheek piece will be high enough that it’s a non-issue.

When I had a Bravo (for a Rem 700) I had the same problem. I just dremelled out a cut out in the cheek piece so I didn't have to move the cheek rest to remove the bolt.

I found some aluminum tubing the right diameter and epoxied them in place on the check piece rods.
Remove and replace in seconds. it will stay at the correct height.
