Given the choice, I'd take a 55/65 over any other rifle Tikka has even made. My 65 is a beauty - well made, no plastic, perfect fit and finish, deadly accurate. Made back in the pre-Sako days when Tikka wasn't a bargain brand.
Some of these are branded Ithaca as well - same rifle though.
The downside (and it's a big downside) is that magazines are really hard to find and really expensive when you do find one. There's a company in Australia I think that makes them too, but theirs stick out, so you lose the nice flush-fit that the stock mags give you. At a gun show or on EE you might occasionally see a magazine selling for $250 or so.
For value - in the kind of condition you're talking about, I would agree $900ish. If yours comes with a second mag, I'd ask $1200 and see what kind of offers you get. Or, sell the spare magazine separately - it's worth more that way. If yours still has the front sight cover, that can definitely make it more appealing to a buyer. Rings/bases will add a little value/appeal too. Not everyone knows that modern Tikka T3 rings and 2-piece bases work on these.
Good luck with your listing when you decide to post it.
