Has anybody ever shot one of those Tikka M07 combination guns? They look to me to be just about ideal for New Brunswick's extended varmint season. The 12 gauge is perfect for crows and cormorants, and the .222 will take care of any coyote or groundhog I may spot.....I doubt it could be scoped easily without interfering with the shotgun, though.

They aren't cheap, but combination guns never are.

Does anyone here have any experience with them?

I have a Voherre (SP?) in 12 over 222. Both shoot well. I have scoped it when testing 222 loads. I was loading 60 gr bullets to 223 velociteis as a possible deer bullet. It shot very well.

Did not try a hunting scope to see where shotgun shot in relation to scoped settign for 222.

Has a beed for shotgun and a pp up rear sight for 222.

I have never used it, but am still intrigued with idea of trying it.
