Hey, i found a nice Tikka m65 in a local gun shop. Chambered in 30-06. It's the standart model. Price is 500$, is it a good deal? How much does it worth?
I bought deluxe versions of m65 for more, but their stocks are really nice.
I think I paid $600 for a regular stock 308WIN m55 (LSA-55) so $500 seems decent. Make sure it has a clip--they are very difficult to source and may cost close to 2 hundred.
Tikkas from this era have a good reputation for accuracy...

A nice Tikka M65 (with mag etc) in 30/06 for $565 (tax included) with be a very fair price for a good rifle. If it has the iron sights and you like the balance and feel of the rifle.. and the bore is in very good condition .... you would have a hard time buying a comparable rifle made today for that money. I would be quite interested if I didnt already have a .270W in an M65. Good deer and moose gun for sure
