I have the opportunity to buy a synthetic stock for my Tikka M695 in 300 wing mag. The synthetic one is in 280 rem. Are all the action sizes for the M695's the same size. My first thought is no but from the limited reading I have done on the internet would seem to suggest yes. I don't want to be stuck with a stock that doesn't fit. The 280 is a standard action like the 30'06 and the 300 is a long action like a 7mm and 338. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
