Tikka M695

I had a 695 stainless/synthetic in 6.5x55 and still have a 595 blued/synthetic in .308 Win....... beefier than the T3 [heavier too].

Regret letting the stainless in 6.5x55mm go.

Personally, I prefer them over the T3..

They are quite a bit bulkier than T3's. Similar trigger group, mostly cosmetic differences and a lot more metal on the receiver and barrel profile. Nice but too heavy IMO,

I’ve got a 695, started life as a 25-06, shot the barrel out after some thousands of rounds, rebarrelled it to a 280ai. I prefer my 695, I have another in 300wm, both shot very well, I like the heavier feel, absorbs recoil much better, also much better looking as well, in my opinion of course. Beautiful wood on both. Also have four T3, which all shoot very well too but for fit, feel, and appearance I prefer the 695, just classier I think. One of the t3 I have is my go to hunting rifle in 270w, I put a Boyd’s laminate on it and really like it too, mostly cuz it’s heavier, plus that stock is pretty.

Can’t say if there is any difference in the triggers between the two. Both are excellent, I have a Timney on a Savage and all the Tikka triggers are better than the Timney.
