I have 2 other Tikka's a Wideland 300 win mag & Hunter .270 and both are great shooting guns. I'd like to add the Roughtech Ember to the list in .223 but have come up with nothing so far. Love the looks of the gun and lots of .223 ammo around at affordable prices

I would like the Ember with black barrel. Just to have something different looking.

Yeah I know. It's crazy but I bought my Wideland 300 win mag when it was $1720. and now it's over $1900.
I tell my wife Look the price went up and like it's a investment.
What’s it matter if it’s a 223 or a 243 or a 270 or a 30-06 or a ? as long as it’s what you want ? Or are you thinking ? It’s overpriced ?

I just got a Roughtech 6.5 PRC and it has a fluted 24 “ barrel with a Radial brake - fluted Bolt body - over sized bolt knob - Cerakoted barreled action. Nicely painted stock ! Fir $500 -600 LESS the Ember ! What’s do special about an Ember ? RJ
A buddy bought the last Lefthand Roughtech ember in 6.5 PrC in Canada that I could find. I wanted to order a Lefthand rough tech ember stainless and was told it would be a 18 month wait.
I decided to take the pic rail off my 6.5 PrC CTR and put light weight rings and a smaller scope on it.
