I have the above listed gun and I would like to order a stock for it but the gun is 800 km away. Boyds is telling me that the T3 lite may have 2 screw patterns and that they only carry the ones that center at 7 5/32" and not the shorter ones that some have. I'm wondering if the long action lites would have the 7 5/32 center which would be the same as the other T3's and the short action would have the smaller distances between the screw. Does anyone have a mag caliber T3 Lite they could measure for me so I don't have to wait two weeks to order my stock.

I was just listening to a conversation, a local fellow who does stock work was inletting a Boyds stock for a Tikka , he remarked that Boyds was having problems getting the Tikka right, just about the only complaint I have heard about Boyds and I did not hear what the specific issue was.
Just measured my t3 lite 7mm rem mag it's 7" center to center. I've never heard of tikka having 2 different spacings on t3's. 5/32 is just over 1/8 of an inch, if anything you will have to oblong the holes a little towards each other. A small round file would make quick work of it.
