How are these for accuracy, can it run with a Savage M-12? I am going to buy a long range outfit for target/plinking/hunting. Looking at a 6.5x55 in this rifle...........any comments will surely help.

The rifle will in all likelihood have the potential to deliver incredible accuracy. As good or better than anything on the market. My experience with Tikka has shown them to be stunningly accurate rifles.

It takes far more than an accurate rifle to shoot accurately. Remember the "golden Triad" of precision shooting:

Accurate rifle

Accurate shooter

Accurately loaded ammunition.

You results will only be as good as the weakest of these three...

Well,
I have exactly Tikka HB Varmint in 6.5x55.
Quality of the rifle is so-so, especially stock sucks.
Last month have tried my rifle first time in months and couldn't believe it.
At 200m I was getting less then 3/4".
Scoped with Elite 4-16x50

It is a great shooter.

My .223 T3 Varmint seems to be accurate enough with the right load. It's consistently producing 5 shot groups that look like this .252" one. Overall quality is excellent.

Quality sucks? Compared to what??

It is a cheap stock compare to previous sporter Tikkas or Sako.
Rifle itself shoots well for a varmint rifle is perfect and I will try to enter some competition in near future to tell how well it will work in longer distance shooting.

I'd save yourself $600 and get the Varmint instead of the Super Varmint. Only real difference is the regular Varmint doesn't come with adjustable cheekpiece or the 0 MOA scope rail.
