Tikka T3 Super Varmint is available for 2006.
They have added an adjustable cheek piece, a piccatinny rail, integral Optilock scope mounts and an extra large bolt handle.
Stainless 23 3/8 inch heavy barrel with the composite stock only.
According to the catalog they are available in 222, 223, 22-250, 243win, 260rem, 7mm-08, 308win, 270WSM, 300WSM, 25-06, 6.5X55SE, 270win, 300WinMag, and 338WinMag. But Beretta USA lists them in three calibers only.:(
I have shot the Varmint stainless models in a 223 and a 22-250 and these rifles are extremely accurate long range rifles.
I would love to own one of these in a .243 or a 260Remington... Leupold Long range Varmint Reticle... Wile E Coyote look out.
Any one got a Varmint stainless in any caliber?

I won't sell you one Chilly.... can't have you outshooting me.
These things will be long sold out before groundhog season opens up... there are only a few in the country and you know the story on backorders.

YEAH Scott.... I just read that thread too... they never quit do they...

I see they have them in .204 ruger... this has me fascinated as well:)

Well I just bought some .243 dies from Bartell so now all I need is this rifle.
I took a good look at it and it beats every varmint rig out there minus the Sako 75 Varmint (The god of all varmint rifles:) )

Cheers!!

I have the only 500 yard range in the area... I get to shoot all the good stuff;)

Life sucks eh????:D :D :D :D :D

Should be interesting to see what it does. I wonder how the supervarmint shoots compared to Chilly's T3 in 243.

I think the main difference will be in repeated shooting on hot days... the light profile barrel on the regular T-3's will heat up and... well... you know the drill. I like a heavy taper for varmints... or a bull barrel for sniping from one position... they are just so damn heavy for carrying for miles.
