Tikka T1X LH?

I have been hearing rumors that there will be a left handed T1X. Has anyone heard anything else? Would be really interested in one to go along with my T3.
 
If you hang your hat on rumours you'll soon be picking it up from the floor.

Rumour and wishful thinking aside, Tikka says in it's 2019 Rifle Catalogue "This year we are releasing a much demanded left-handed version." If there is indeed a LH model, it may just be behind schedule, as was the original RH model. Believe it when you see it.

Already been announced as the last poster said. I don't get LH models, given that there are 0.1% LH models of all firearms, wouldn't it be easier to just learn how to shoot RH?

I was born mostly blind in my right eye. Although my right eye works for periferal vision, I can't focus out of it. I can only use my left eye to focus/see. So "learn to shoot right handed" isn't even an option.... so it's nice to have left handed guns on the market.....
 
Not the first time I have heard someone say eksrn to shoot right handed, my father being one of them. I then told him to learn to shoot left handed; he then shut up for a bit.

If I have a gun in my right hand and quickly bring it up to try to shoot from my right side i hit myself in the center of my chest as i instinctually try to shoulder it to the left.

I have this problem as well. Had to teach myself at a young age to shoot left handed because of it.
 
Well Louthepou did me a solid and checked out the SHOT show boith for Tikka. They did not have one on display, but they show them in their new catalogue. Got hold of my local hunting/gun shop about it. They are not at the distributors but that may be because thue are that new. I am putting a downpayment down on the hope they will be in before I am too old to shoot one. Hopefully there will be more info at the Canadian gun trade show he mentioned; he will have my name out on the first one he can get.

Contact Stoeger Canada and find out when they are getting them. They are the Canadian Distributor for Tikka - all Dealers will get them from Stoeger.
 
I note that they are still not even on the Tikka website.

You'd think it would be big news.

Let the waiting continue lol...
