Tikka t1x muzzle brake

Hi everyone,

I have a Tikka t1x and I'm looking for a muzzle brake for cosmetic reasons. I'm fairly new to firearms and unsure about muzzle brake selection. It's threaded for 1/2x28. Does that mean that any brake I get in that size will fit, or is there anything else I need to look into.

That’s right, as long as it’s 22cal or bigger

Correct. I run a regular AR15-style .223 muzzle break on my T1x.

One other consideration is to measure ur barrel diameter and get the appropriate sized brake to match. Looks much better and cleaner lines this way. Cheers Chris

So as long as it's larger than 22lr, and has the same 1/2x28 pattern it will fit? So theoretically a muzzle brake for a 308 would work if it's 1/2x28.
