Tikka T1x rings torque ?

While I don't love them, I've been using WARNE rings on rimfires in recent years, and their site (if memory serves) offers torque settings for both mounting the rings to the receiver, and for mounting the scope itself. I always google the ring make/model+torque setting and see if there is a consensus...and always check the manufacturer's site to see if there are specs. Doubt you'll find anything from the rifle makers themselves.

Different makes of rings will have different torque requirements. The ring manufacturer will suggest a proper torque to use for scope rings, if not on the box then available online. This will be valid regardless of the make of the rifle,
