afternoon nutz,

anyone have a line on new stocks for a t1x? would like something a little beefier if possible. gun will only be used for bench & prone shooting. will be mounting a Mpod on it.

only one i have seen online is a carbon fiber stock for 1100$ us, ( NO! lol ) and one from europe. boyds hasnt released one yet either. may hold out for them, but in the mean time if anyone here knows of someone whos in the process of making one, or if theres one already out there, let me know.

thanks

i heard you need to do some rework in the bolt area, someone mentioned using a T3 stock at some point on the pages i was looking at but i thought it required some customizing.

KRG is making one for the t1x in their Bravo line.

Side question to anyone in the know, does any standard t3x stock fit the t1x? I know the t1x has a bit beefier barrel contour, which is why I ask. Ideally, I'd like to know if a B&C sporter stock built for a t3x will fit and work on a t1x if anyone has any idea.

Boyd's is at the moment working on direct fit T1x stock(s). It has been reported at rimfirecentral that Boyd's T3 stocks need some cutting in the magwell area for a proper T1x fit.

I can confirm a T3 synthetic (varmint) is a direct fit.

If you have $1000 to spend then here's something to look into: https: //mdttac.com/ca_en/lss-rimfire-chassis-system.html

Chassis itself is only 400, could be kept to 700, far more than a Boyd’s but not cheap

Chassis plus stock and pistol grip... about a G note after taxes.

https: //mdttac.com/ca_en/mdt-skeleton-rifle-stock.html and this https: //mdttac.com/ca_en/carbine-to-fixed-stock-adapter.html or this instead https: //mdttac.com/ca_en/mdt-skeleton-carbine-stock.html

And this unless you go Magpul https: //mdttac.com/ca_en/mdt-pistol-grip.html

I'm considering one for my CZ457 for my 50th B-Day

GRS Bifrost. I think it’s the most comfortable stock I’ve shouldered.

The Tikka T3 Hunter (walnut) stock requires a little relief in the mag well area. It takes about 10 -15 minutes, if that.

well, been messaging back and forth with Go Big Tactical and will be purchasing a KRG Bravo stock for the T1x. even better, they've offered their support for the Simcoe Muskoka Rimfire matches by sending some swag this way. this stock should pair quite nicely with Mystic Precisions Mpod. ( thanks jerry! )
