- I checked my T3 and load the bullet out to 2.43" for best length of a Barnes 70 gr. Tac X in the longer magazine but the rifling pushes it back to 2.33" no one seems to mention you have to throat these to make use of the longer oal, any experience out there?

Leghthen the throat the bbl has to come off the action set up in the lathe and do the work . I have herd of throating being done through the action by hand nutt I would be Leary of that approach .

I put an AI style stock on my T-3, and found that being able to seat 75 grain Amaxes out quite a bit didn't help. Gun shot just as well as short seated 75 grain Amaxes. Go figure, but I guess a good problem to have.
