The T3 safeties on my rifles have slipped from safe to fire position in the field, only two three times in several years. Think it happens a bit easier with large bolt knobs and when rough handling the rifle or in rough terrain. That is the main reason I tried these, also I know the guy quite well who makes them as he is a customer of ours... we make carbon stocks as in the picture for Walkuere from ASH. Andreas from ASH told me they do have a few problems with rifle smiths who do not understand the workings of these safeties and fit them wrong that is why I said one must take care when fitting. Anyone who knows how to fit Mauser safeties will understand these... not difficult.

From whom did you get your one? Fit it your self? happy?
They take a little time to smoothen a bit. I think they are very good.

OK, link to the shop of Andreas. ASH. check the little video for installation. Roedale Germany also sells or sold these units.

The most important part of the installation or adjustment is that the firing pin is slightly pulled back when applying even the first safe position.
This enables the trigger once pulled and let go (in the safe position) to go back behind the sear.
