So I've been working on my 243 loads and I've been having great result. Many of my 3 shot groups hover at .6 moa and I have had some 5 shot groups measuring 1 moa.
Today how ever I had a record breaker (for me and this rifle) I put 5 shots into a .682" group! I've been a Tikka fan for a while and that's not about to change.
If your considering a Tikka then I would say do it.
As Tony the Tiger would say, They're Great!

I have a .243 t3 and it’s a tack driver with a 58 gr vmax. I raised mine up a little more out of the stock as it wasn’t truly floated. It shot well before that but amazing after.

All four of my T-3 rifles were varmint models, and all four shot sub 1/2" for five shots with my handloads. I have a new CTR on the way, and expect the same.

Both of my T3 rifles are the lite model, excellent accuracy from both. The 204 will only shoot the 32 gr bullets, with the heavier bullets not performing much better than 1-1.5".

I have a .222 in a wood stock, a 9.3x62 Battue light both are also tack drivers, just got a stainless T3X 7 RM. but haven’t shot it yet

Got my buddy's new T3x 7mm Mag on paper earlier this week. First 4 shots with factory Rem Core Lokt ammo got it close to bullseye, then fired five 160gr Accubond handloads that landesd in 1moa @ 100y. It's got some promise

Tikkas shoot as well as any non custom rifle on the market

I've had several T-3s and never have been over impressed with their general accuracy. And I find that the plastic bolt shroud coming off is very annoying too.

I have 3 in the safe at the moment. A .204, .243 and 300 wsm, all them shoot extremely well. Never have had an issue with their mags, trigger guards or bolt shrouds. For a rifle under 1K w/ a detach mag their isn't a better option IMO.

If you're using factory ammo, have you tried several different kinds? I have a T3 LS and it's ridiculously accurate. It was bore sighted at the shop and my first shot at 100 yards was just on the paper. Did my adjustments and the next 3 shots grouped at under 0.5". This was the first box of ammo I tried (Fed Fusion) and I never even cracked the Hornady SST and BST boxes I bought (still haven't). This was also my first time firing anything besides a .22 two decades prior. This is my deer rifle and only gets used 1 week/year. Every season I pull it out and put one down range to check it and it never fails to hit where I aim.

I owned several ( + 25 cal) Tikkas about a dozen years ago and my experience was that I could reasonably expect 3/4 MOA (five shot groups). With handloads, I occasionally shot sub-1/2 MOA groups as well as some 1.5 MOA .... but those were exceptions.

Some days I really miss my T3 Lite 223. That's was a very fun rifle. Before I bought my 243 I considered another 223 but I figured I'd like something with a little more capability so I decided on the 243. One day I'd like to own a 260 Remington or a 6.5 Creedmoor.
With my 223, I shot targets all the way out to 675 yards and varmints all the way out to 350 yards. I still remember shooting shampoo bottles with my wife from 400 yards. Those were good times. When my kids get a little older I hope to do more of that.

I can not wait to shoot my T3 in 204 and yes am going to go through the break in procedure with the 1st 20 rounds. This will become my dedicated Coyote rig since my T3x is getting a rebarrel this summer.
