Tikka T3 aftermarket stocks?

Does any one manufacture an aftermarket stock for the Tikka T3? Thinking about buying one but don't like their stocks much. Looked at Bell and Carlson and McMillian and didn't see anything.
 
Bell and carlson. mcmillan, manners and others all make stocks for the t3. Mcmillan will inlet pretty much all models for the t3, their number can be found on their website. Mcmillan also ships to canada, best of luck
 
Hmm, must of been half asleep when I was looking. Will look again.

At least I know, there are options. The feel of the Tikka stocks has turned me off in the past.

While they haven't listed them yet, McMillan will inlet the Sako Hunter, Sako Classic and Sako Varmint for the T3.
 
Bought this one from Robertson in Ottawa. I really like it.

Yes.

With an aftermarket model 70. Same as you can replace 10/22 parts with aftermarket Anschutz actions, barrels and stocks. ;)

I don't hate 10/22s or Tikkas, but if you're just going to dump $700 worth of parts into it, why not just buy something better to start?
 
Gtrussel: Why do you mention swapping out the barrels? Is there something wrong with them or just replacing them when you have put the 1000's of rounds down them like any other barrel?

Norma: She's a beaut! I'm not a big synthetic stock guy, but that I like! Is Robertson still producing stocks? I don't know anything about them.

Prophet River: Thanks for the heads up, I still haven't decided if I'm going to buy the one I'm looking at or not.
 
I think Robertson is out of the game, or was late last year...

Nothing wrong with a Tikka barrel, its the best part of the rifle...right off the sako barrel forges. :D
 
In response to all the smartass Tikka comments: :)

Don't know if you guys know how much of a pain in the ass it is to shoot lefty. You either have to order rifles in, chance upon one at a shop, jump on the standard calibres in the EE or buy something in some magnum calibre that no one wants or so it seems.

And I'm not even left handed! Major left eye dominant - talked to my optometrist, no chance of being able to make my right eye dominant.

McMillan doesn't list them but they will do them although last time I spoke with Kelly he wasn't sure how much longer they would. They will even do one with the Edge technology if you ask.
