Short version: will low Optilock rings and Optilock bases leave enough clearance to fit a Busnell 3200 3-9x40 over the barrel of a T3?

I believe I have the medium rings, but am not sure. I bought this setup back when I didn't know my head from a hole in the ground (serves me right for trusting a strange gunsmith). I am trying to get a better sightline from my cheekweld position, and the scope is too high. I am already am using an Eagle Industries cheek pad.

Second question: what Talley lightweight rings will fit a T3, and I am assuming I need new bases to match the Talleys?

Iv got burris mounts and signiture rings on my T3, I had to shim to get my bsa 3-9x40 stealth tactical to clear the barrel

I have talley lightweights low on my Tikka T3 with my bushnell 3200 3x9x40, talley's are great and others have recommended them and now I do as well. Great setup.

Should be good to GO!! I use the Optilock low Rings and Bases with Leupold VX3 40mm OBJ scopes on my 2 Tikka T3's......no issues. I personally prefer the Optilocks. Have them on all my Sako m75 and Tikka T3 rifles.

Talley would be my next vote.

Even the Extra-low rings inthe Optilocks should work. I had 1 pr before and they were too low for my liking when I shouldered the rifle.
