I recieved a T3 I bought off the EE today and when I compared it to my other T3 I noticed that they are not 100% identical.

CM T3 Lite 6.5x55 serial 052###
SS T3 Lite .30-06 serial 488###

First thing I noticed was the action screws, on the CM they are torx and on the SS they are flat head. After removing the stock I also noticed that the internal area of the stock, where the front swivel is attached is also different. (Top one belonging to the SS T3).

Have a look at the different bolt release. Notice the different trigger face? If you also look carefully notice on the trigger housing you can see the SS rifle has "Finland" stamped into it, the other does not.

And here have a look at inside the trigger housing, notice the variations?

Although some of these differences might seem insignificant I'm curious why they differ? Anybody have a clue? What "T3 version" do you have? Any differences with yours to both of mine?

Inquiring minds want to know???:)

Probably something to do with manufacturing costs. At least that's what swivel attachment point makes me think. I would imagine it costs a lot less to just mold it in then to mill and install a steel piece.
