Hey guys
I have a tikka t3 lite stainless in 30-06, and I haven't hunted in 2 years due to a lot of reasons. I have several half empty boxes of ammo, and some reloads I made a couple years back when I first got into hunting.
I don't have the time or money to do a lot of experimenting, I moved up to northern alberta and hunting season is upon me now, and I work a lot!
I was hoping some of you who use the same or similar rig as me, have some recommended ammo your gun likes, maybe mine will like it too.
I'm looking for probably a 165 or 180 grain bullet, and I want it to be a versatile round that I can use for all big game I plan on hunting, ie whitetail, mulies, elk, moose.
I used federal vital shok nosler accubond 180gr ammo on my last trip 3 years ago, and got a little muley buck with it, I had drawn a moose LEH tag but wasn't able to connect....that bullet made the little 2 point guy almost do a flip at 100 yards
