Tikka t3 in a bell and carleson stock?

Ok so I have a t3 lite in 6.5x55. Love the trigger, sub moa with the right load all day. Love the butter smooth action and mild recoil with this caliber.

I am looking to buy a 300 win mag and figured why not get another tikka? My concern is with the light weight it will be a thumper even with a limbsaver. Then I thought if I put it into a heavier stock it would help and I like the look of the B&C stocks. Can anyone comment on how much heavier this rifle is with the B&C stock? Any recommendations on an alternate 300 win mag rifle? I am not a fan of the savage from personal experience and I want to keep the price around 1k.
 
Looks like I can get a stainless light for 810$ + 300$ for a B&C or 1080$ for a laminate stainless. Comes out to about the same. Probably around the same weight which way would you go?

Something else for you to try out is the sako 85 synthetic
 
Which way you go is all up to your taste in stocks. I would tend to think that the laminate would weigh more than the b and c stock if you're looking to add weight. If the b and c comes with a good recoil pad compared to the hockey puck on the tikka that may be a plus and save a bit of cash too. To be honest though since I hand load I don't think I would get a tikka in a 300 win mag because of how the mag is limited right at saami spec for the coal. I think the tikka the 300 mag barrel is about 24 inches too and I'd rather have a 26 inch tube for that cartridge but in reality if you're just doing some shooting and hunting I'm sure it will serve you just fine
 
I prefer my laminate stock to the B&C. My mandatory upgrades for a Tikka T3 in a magnum: Sterk SS Recoil Lug, and a Limbsaver. Done.

To add: I went with the laminate stock for added weight on my T3 7RM, and couldn't be happier with my choice. I swapped a factory synthetic stock onto it for a while, but soon put it back as I / it shoots noticeably better with the laminate stock.
Only negative: I don't like the short magazine length of the long action T3's, as I roll my own.
