Where would one start to look in canada for either a new or used internal action wrench for a Tikka T3 action??

Before I get scolded about how they are not designed to be used to break a factory barrel free.....I know this already....and I broke the factory barrel free with a week long soak in sea foam deep creep penetrating oil and a very hefty external action wrench, however for torqueing on new shouldered barrels I prefer an internal wrench

I have one for a 700. Works great for the remage barrels. Versus the big old action wrench.

Rear entry action wrench. Something about that name.

I got mine from xtreme shooting center. Works great. They are in Winnipeg I believe.

Same place I got mine and it's good quality as well. I think I bought my Viper barrel vise from them at the same time.
Switch barrel T3X's are the bees knees, I just bought a factory CTR barrel off the EE {thanks dfarrel!} for 200$ that shoots sub-MOA with the first two loads I tried.
I have had a total of three used factory tikka barrels ranging from 100-200$ all screw on to the same T3X action and headspace properly...same as shouldered prefits.
A 90$ action wrench and a 120$ dollar bench vise sure pay themselves off in a hurry when a guy isn't looking to a gunsmith for a 700$ re-barrel.

Sun and Steel what did you use to wrap the barrel with in the vise?

roll of T.P., but the viper vise has a thick powder coating which doesn't mar the barrel at all.
One thing to note is I have not removed a factory installed Tikka barrel with the vise, I don't believe it would have the holding power to do the job, I just use it to switch barrels once that first one is cracked.

I have a few times. I found I had to use a piece of sheet lead and the roll of TP.

The thin Sporter barrels are the ones that are tough to grip. Clamp it very tight.

You must have got a good one, they sent me one so out of spec the lug will slide into the action but the main body of the wrench will not slide into the action, thus the lug does not even come close to butting up to the barrel where you want to apply the pressure to tighten and loosen the barrel, so far they've ghosted me on 2 phone calls, and the reply to every email is call us right away to discuss this..........anyone want a nice paperweight?

Photos as promised. These are made from 4140 and are hot blued

Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship! Your bluing is so nice, maybe Someday you could show some of the gun companies how it’s supposed to look. Love the maple leaf also.Kudos
