Tikka T3 laminate no longer available?

I was just looking on Cabela's and Wholesale Sports, and both sites show the T3 having no availability in a laminated stock. Does anyone know about this option being discontinued? I currently have a laminate stainless in .30-06 that I bought about 5 years back. Found it a little odd...

I just shouldered a Tikka T3X stainless laminate in 3006 at the Cabelas North Edmonton store not 2 days ago.

Did you check the manufacturing web site to see if it where discontinued there after no luck at Cabelas and No Sale Sports?

I did find it today after looking again. I looked at some forums out of the States and some people had reported periods where the laminate model was difficult to find. Apparently it is not as plentiful as the more popular synthetic stock option.

Tikka still offers the Laminate SS model (T3X) just handled one in 338wm last week

One at SAIL to. Nice stocks, though I much prefer the blued metal over the bead blasted SS. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

They're out there! Today I picked up a T3 Laminate Stainless in a .243. It fits me, it's smooth, and i like how it looks. If it shoots straight, I'll love it even more! Willie
