Tikka T3 Lite w/sights ?

What are the sights like?

I am looking for a setup for Moose hunting and we travel a long ways from home. Little over 1200 km one way, so I was thinking it would be nice to have a rifle with open sights just in case my scope fails.

Was thinking about a T3 lite in 300 Win Mag, little leary of the recoil though, definately need a Limbsaver recoil pad on it!

I have a 243 Win and a 7mm-08 Rem in the T3 lite without sights now and really like them.

I had one with the iron sights sights. Any of the T3's with blued barrels can be had with iron sights as an option. The sights are nothing special but they work and are rugged enough. Certainly look better than the Battue model that has the space rail looking thing that the fiber optic sights sit on.
