tikka t3 lite youth stocks?

My gf is getting into hunting and just recently bought a tikka t3 lite in a. 243. She loves the gun but it seems that the stock is too long and its hard for her to focus the scope. She is really small so im thinking that if i can get her a shorter stock that this problem can be solved. Ive tried adjusting the scope but i can get it far enough back. Anybody have any ideas?

MacMillan makes a stock now for the T3. Will be a pricey option but it will be nice....fit for her. Or as some others have done, cut some of the stock off.

Other option (I would say stay with the Tikka) would be to look at a Remington model 7 or a Savage in the youth model...both have shorter LOP.

I would add that you should also look at the Vanguard youth model.

FWIW I recently bought my very petite ( 4' 11+1/2" ) wife an H&R Compact single shot .243 and she loves the "fit".

Ya we looked at all those youth models but she didnt like any of them. Shes a stubborn one i tell ya.
