Tikka T3 Magazine

Can anyone tell me how far the 5 shot magazine for a T3 extends past the bottom of the stock? The 3 shot mag is pretty much flush. I don't want something gets in the way when carrying through the woods. Thanks.

Quite a bit, nearly to the bottom of the trigger guard. Here's a pic of the extended mag sitting in my 22-250.

with the .223 i have found that i can actually squeeze 6 rounds into the mag and 1 in the chamber
