Tikka T3 - Safety very stiff

Has anyone noticed in their Tikka T3, that the safety was very stiff when first bought. I am assuming it will become a little easier to engage after some wear. I bought mine yesterday from Bass Pro and noticed this when I got home. Anyone else?

Maybe try taking your rifle apart and de-grease everything. I wasn't happy with the trigger on my brand new T-3 until I cleaned everthing up..... now I love it! You might find that you have the problem with the safety.

Its not horrible, just a little annoying and it seems to be getting better, but i will try to degrease.

No problems with mine. Tikka T3 Lite in .223 Rem.

3 in my locker. All work good and a tad too easy maybe. My father carries his rifle on the opposite shoulder than me out of habit. He's actually had the safety disenguage several times.

Mine was a little stiff when I bought it too.. cleaned it up and a tiny drop of oil slickered it right up and I'm happy with it now.
