Hey guys, I hate to ask such a newbie question after being a long time member so if this isn't allowed (read rules and didn't see much), but cleaning out the safe for some other builds and I can't for the life of me figure out what is a reasonable price for this gun and I don't want to short change myself, but also prefer to be a reasonable seller.

And I did search but can't find much similar.

It's a Tikka T3 Tac .308 with a B&C Stock (have original), Sako Break and Bushnell Tac elite 6-24 in Leupold rings. It's a sub MOA firearm with factory ammo.

All similar listings on CGN are of CTR's and T3x's which are VERY different firearms.

Any insight?

Caliber?

The rifle itself in factory form? Id guess $800ish, with all that other stuff I'm not sure though. $800+60% of the retail value of the rest if you wanted to sell it in one go, might get a bit more if you sell it piecemeal. That's my guess based on the fact I've been watching the EE constantly for a few months hoping to get a lefty rifle in 270win at a good price.

I saw a Tik Tac in 308 not too long ago, either at the TSE or CSC, can't remember, but it had an $1899.99 price tag. Not exactly an inexpensive rifle.

Hi J_Scott, to give you an idea of what the newer version (T3x TAC)is selling as new, check the link below. It's more expensive then the CTR model. I think at 2200$ it's overpriced, but the TAC still have couple differences with the CTR version. Barrel and action finish, ajustable cheek piece. Are they worth the price difference, that's a good question...

Picked up the t3 tac exactly like that but in tan with the tikka acu Camo stock 2 months back for 1050$. Same break etc.
Should mention that was with nightforce rings.

I bought a Tikka T3 (not the X version) in 308, factory original with brake and a 20 MOA rail for $1100 a couple years ago. I was happy with that price, they are a more expensive rifle that the Varmint and CTR.

The Tac also has a heavier barrel (~TRG profile) than the CTR or A1.
Tac has the rail pinned on, so does the A1 (unsure about CTR rail).

I have A T3 Tactical, and a T3X CTR. The tactical I picked up heavily discounted, around the price of a new CTR. The manual states the Tactical uses a Sako match grade heavy profile barrel That is parkerized. I’ve read it’s the same barrel the TRG uses, and has a sub moa 5 shot guarantee. The CTR is a medium heavy profile, that uses a different coating, I can’t tell what it is, it’s not blued. The bolts are identical, magazine system is different. I hate tikka stocks so I sold mine immediately, and dropped them both into chassis systems.

The barrel on the tactical is supposed to be superior to the CTR, and I can confirm. shoots excellent.
