so my good buddy is looking at getting a t3 tactical, just loves that unit. his only beef is the plastic mags. is there any aftermarket steel or AL mag out there? if not at least a supply of at least less expensive mags out here?

cheers!!

There are no steel mags available that replace the plastic ones. I am curious if anyone has had any problems with the plastic ones or just that he wants to replace it for the heck of it. Only issue we have seen on the several Tikkas sold with plastic mags is that two guns had the shell followers in backwards which prevented proper feeding. Tht fix was to simply push in the follower at one end and pop out the follower and turn it around. The only thing wrong is the $97.00 we have to charge for the extra mags which probably prevents 90% of the sales we should normaly get. Remember that the Swiss Arms also use plastic mags and are more than strong. durable anf reliable for the military. If your bud still has reservations then tell him to buy a Sako with real steel mags at only twice to three times the price.

really, ive only heard nice stuff about these mags, except some people not liking the fact that they are made of plastic( they probably ##### at glocks too) and that 100$ price tag. They apparently feed really well, all the time

although my friend an i dont doubt the strenght, as mentioned before the swiss arms have plastic ones, its the fact that they are plastic, its more just for the principal i guess, as well as 100$ for a plastic mag is kinda rough, for that price i hope it will do a dance for me at least
anyways thanks for the input!!
