I've never used or owned one. I checked them out at a gun store. I liked the action and the quality. I hated the stock. It looked like cheap plastic.
Car analogy for you. It could be the best car in the world, if it's ugly sales will be low.
....like the volkswagen "bug" for example. Ugly, so no-one would buy them.
But anyways, it's not a fashion show - get something that does the job for you and shoot lots.
"The peoples car" had it's place just as the SKS does for firearms. The Tikka is in a higher dollar bracket.
