Tikka T3 Torque Values???

i just picked up a t3 [tupperware stock]in 7-08 for my son and am in the midst of cleaning her up and mounting some bases/rings. i was wondering if anyone knows the standard torque values of the action screws??

till they are hand tight. not cranked down, but when they stop. give them another 1/4 turn or so and they should be good. thats how i always put mine back together. i have a sheet somewhere of the actual torque values but it generaly ends up being the same as i turn them to anyhow.

The term "hand tight" refers to how tight you can tighten the screw or bolt without tools. I know what is being said and it's true, Tighten with the tools until you can't turn it anymore, then turm andother 1/4 turn.

However that being said, you can see this video showing that most manyfactures are 60 inch pounds.

There is no steel pillar in the tikka synthetic stock. Mine came from the factory with the action screws tightened to 25 inch lbs. When I reinstalled it, I was reluctant to go to 60.
