So not a gunsmith, not a rich guy. Have currently two tikka T3, in 25-06 and 30-06. Triggers aren't horrible, but I'm wondering about aftermarket options.

Cheaper than a $400 timney. Kanadian source.
Easy install and adjustable to about 2.5lbs.
I've seen us sites offering $14 replacement springs, those aren't getting past customs. Anyone stock these?

I put Mountain Tactical trigger springs in all of mine. They come from Montana and they get past customs just fine. No problems there. Another option would be the YoDave springs. Pretty sure they're a Canadian outfit. Installation takes about 5 minutes and is incredibly easy. There shouldn't be any issues getting your desired pull weight with either of those.

Yodave is canadian..........

less then 5 minutes to swap the springs out, heard he has lots in stock and ready to ship.....

What are you looking to achieve? I was happy to just do the factory adjustment available on my Tikka trigger to lower the weight. Mine doesn't have any take-up or creep with a clean break

I have a Yodave in my tikka as well. I'm no trigger snob but I'd have a hard time telling the difference between it and my Triggertech's now.

On my Tikka T3X with Yo Dave spring, and using the trigger's adjustment screw, my Lyman trigger pull gauge is showing an average 15.9 oz with +/- variation about half an ounce.

Best trigger Bix n Andy, hands down, but it's reallllly expensive.

Timney is okay, but not worth the money if you want 2.5lbs

Most people I know just did a Yodave or a $20 MCARBO spring kit. That'll get you down to 2.5.

I've scored two factory set-triggers off the EE. Absolutely stunning when set. Still a nice crisp 2lb Tikka trigger when not set. Best of both worlds, they are out there available on some special edition T3's and Sporters.
