Its been a busy spring here in the shop, balancing custom gunsmithing jobs, production of our products and developing a number of new ones...

However, I am pleased to announce the completion/addition of a "winter" version of our Tikka T3/x bottom metal!

You can see the difference between this and the standard version. This one provides significantly more room to work with gloves in cold weather.

Clean, simple, elegant... Billet 416 stainless steel.

Pricing and details can be found on our web page here: https://www.prprecisionrifles.com/products-1/p/tikka-t3x-winter-trigger-guard

These look great Paul...just what us -30 coyote hunters need!

Will you be making them out of Alloy? I have a weight goal in mind for my Tikka and the SS will be too heavy for me.

I may well make a run in aluminum in the future; In the standard configuration I sell Stainless-aluminum ten to one. Aluminum is certainly lighter but stainless is the better/tougher material.
Only guys like yourself who have a specific weight goal in mind will see the benefit of aluminum, most guys cant feel the difference even when installed in an empty factory plastic stock at a gun show.

For reference, this winter version in stainless weighs 6.1oz

Regards,
Paul.

I would also be interested in an aluminum version as well. Maybe I'm wrong Paul but I see a lot of guys going for ultralight tikka builds so I think an aluminum version would sell well. I'm using a Mountain Tactical BM right now which is 2.3oz but would have rather bought something Canadian.

Was good to meet you last year in Kamloops - I'll stop by again this year.

The rails and bottom metal on my rifles are great, the winter one is a really good idea.

I just received and installed two of the winter, Stainless steel trigger guards. The fit, finish and function are perfect! And Canadian made! Hands down one of the best upgrades for a Tikka rifle.

I agree My PR made aluminum Tikka bottom metal is about that weight and still way Nicer and stronger then plastic factory . Jmo RJ
