Bought a tikka t3x arctic a couple of months ago been shooting 3 different types of cheap bulk amo in it with very disappointing results for a rifle that is guaranteed 1 moa. I decided to take the rear sight off temporarily and put a scope on it till I get the hand loading figured. I have handload only straigh cartridges up to this point 357 mag and 45 acp. Any loading specs you have to point me out in the right direction would be most appreciated.

Tikka are moa guaranteed with sako ammunition, so I would get a box of that and try it to eliminate scope or base issues.

Post up your actual twist rate when you get a chance as it will help people know what to recommend.

308 win 1:11 20 inch barrel

The tikka t3x arctic comes with open sights so I need the scope to dial in the hand loading. Yeah I'm cheap I'd rather handload and get Lazer beam amo than pay $40-$100 a box

I know their ammo is crazy. It was just to eliminate scope issues from the equation. I dont have a 308 load, so I cant help aside from Google. And I already screwed that up by getting the 308 twist and applying that to 223, so im not gonna try.

Aside from that just general tips to load bottleneck cartridges.. read the manual. Lube the neck enough but not too much. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Yeah I just put the scope on to day haven't tried it out yet. I switched it out because my I don't think my eyes are good enough to shoot 1 moa at a hundred yards.

Thanks for you input Brad243
