Tikka thumbhole stocks & picatinny rail?

Just wondering if there is a thumbhole stock available for the Tikka's?

The picatinny rail on the Tactical model, can one get the rail to affix to the other Tikka's models as well?
 
I've been looking for an aftermarket stock for one of my Tikkas for a couple years now. I haven't been able to find one and everyone that I've asked says that they don't exsist (yet). Hopefully someday someone will take a hint and make one. I bet a lot of people would buy them for their Tikkas.
 
No thumbhole stock yet, probably never will be from factory, but maybe aftermarket. Unless you have a 2" spade bit...:p

I believe the rail uses the screw holes on the top of the receiver, does it not?? Should be the same holes on any Tikka.

I don't have a Tikka yet (deciding which one to get), but that's what I was thinking also. Just trying to confirm that is the case.
 
Odd, I am having a Mcmillan A-5 put on my 695 Tikka in 6.5 X55 as we speak and a gent on this board by the name of Ian Robertson is gearing up to make Tikka stocks also. Ian is located in Canada by the way, next new handle is going to be from him.
 
That's great to hear that someone will be coming out with a thumbhole for the Tikka's. Any estimate when they'll be available?
Is Ian Robertson have a website?
 
Jeremy, don't know final tab but won't be cheap as it will have all the bells and whistles. Ian Robertson is a member here and if you search his name should get you to his site. Don't know if Ian is making thumbhole stocks exactly but website or email should reveal that. SHAMELESS PLUG, might have a couple Master Sporter stocks for sale if any one is iterested.
 
We are starting to inlet for the T3 but haven't had much time yet. We also have a thumbhole stock but I don't know how the action will fit as is, it is made for the Q Lite action so I may have to make some changes.
