I recently bought a new Tikka T3X from a dealer. Took the stock off. Cleaned all the factory oil off and set the trigger at 2.5 pounds.
I have around 100 rounds through it now and am closing in on load for the 156 grain Mega.
The last shooing session I would here a click just before the trigger broke. It started to occur more and more. It won’t do it every time but a couple of times when it did happen, I noticed out of the corner of my eye the bolt handle moved ever so slightly.
Is this something that I can fix myself?
I have some good Arkansas oil stones if all it takes is a bit of polishing somewhere and am not afraid to tackle the job.
If it’s something that I can do myself I will but don’t want have to send it away as I have a bear hunt planned in the next week and I want to use this rifle.
I also understand the rule that little is more.
If anyone has a solution I would appreciate the input.
Before it started doing this it was working fine.
