I see the Tikka CTR is available with a set trigger or single stage trigger, i can find nothing on the set trigger even on the Tikka web site. The info that comnes up is all about how crisp and fine it is but nothing on different options. I do like the set trigger i have on a CZ527, so thought it would be a nice option for the CTR i'm considering ordering shortly. Anybody have a Tikka set trigger or is it not available.

As far as I can tell, Tikka rifles in Canada with a factory set trigger are non-existent. You'd have to import a Tikka with a set trigger, import a TRG42 trigger or buy an aftermarket one.

Tikka factory triggers are really nice though. You can adjust them down to 2 1/2 pounds but I never bothered.

I have several Tikka t3's already with no complaint on the triggers. May have to do a shout out to distributors, likely not available. Would be a great option though.

The cheapest alternative to changing up the trigger weight is with the YoDave trigger, some really like that mod and it's cheap.

There are some aftermarket triggers for Tikka, but these will obviously cost a lot more money. KRG makes a 2 stage trigger, Timney makes a Tikka trigger, BnA ($$$), and I believe I heard TT is coming out with an aftermarket trigger?

There is options, depending on how much you want to spend.

Just looking for info on the Tikka set trigger and if it's available or not. The regular trigger is nice already, the set option would be nice to have not a necessity.

The Cabelas edition has the set trigger. Not sure if it’s still available. Mine when set breaks at 8oz and about 1lb/2oz when not set.

I have a sporter with the set trigger. The trigger unset is very good like the standard tikka trigger. You can't adjust the set trigger and mine is not so light as my cz set trigger but still too light to be useful for me

I have the Cabela's ctr with set trigger. Put the to Dave spring in and never use the set feature. Very smooth and light with just the spring and the weight turned down.

Send Stoeger Cda a note and ask them if they have brought any in, and if not, why not? They are the distributor, it would be due to their decisions as to why they are not being marketed here. Sent them a few e-mails over the years , they answer them. I did notice that the set triggers were avail on the website, just never seen any advertised anywhere, even in US, maybe that is a Beretta grp decision.

Never tried the set trigger, but the T3X factory triggers are awesome. They break like glass and have incredibly repeatable pull weight. The trigger on my T3X varmint stainless adjusts down to ~2.5#, I put in a YoDave spring and it goes down to 14oz safely (bang the action with a rubber mallet, bounce the buttstock on the floor, etc., without it releasing).

I got the KRG Tikka Trigger, The thing is an absolute beats.
