Tikka Whitetail/595 .223 extraction problems
The rifle doesn't expel the rounds from the chamber with very much force or not at all.
Fired 40 rounds today and had misfeeds on half of those rounds. Fire the first round no problem, work the bolt and misfeed. The empty brass gets pulled out of the chamber but then just falls ontop of the next round causing a jam. If the bolt is moved quickly to the rear the round is ejected with limited force and lands about 6" from the chamber. I'm thinking it's an extractor and spring problem? Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this up at home.
Very frustrating. Taking it to D. Henry later this week and see what's up.
